RallyABQ

RallyABQ has a mission to establish and implement working groups that will serve as the catalyst for collaboration and outcome-based solution creation for projects in the city of Albuquerque.

RallyABQ held its first meeting in October 2017. The organization created a number of working groups that focused on projects including:

• Helping those coming out of prison to secure a valid state ID
• Developing a resource fair in conjunction with a suicide prevention task force 
• Working with APD and the faith community to develop trainings and safety evaluations for houses of worship

Birga Alden is a 3rd generation Albuquerque native.  She has a history working with various organizations and volunteer groups that serve families living in poverty.  

Birga has a passion for community outreach and collaboration.  

She has 10+ years of experience in radio & TV communications and writes articles for several online forums.
